paper-online.de is the website of the annual International Munich Paper Symposium, and the annual Munich Paper Seminars.
Our values
IMPS Management with the help of Paper-Online is designed to give people an opportunity to increase their personal knowledge in pulp, board and paper industry and supply industries on a profound level. Participants from various countries will engage in serious self-reflection, discussion and communication. By the end of the activity, participants will have additional knowledge and intensive contacts. Additionally, participants will be prompted to share their knowledge as far as possible and allowed with the rest of the group and generate a list of shared experience. Doing so will give participants the opportunity to promote dialogue about any technical differences present as well as any common aspects for the benefit of their company as well as the total community.
How we work
We design and organize practice-based conferences and seminars to preparing people from pulp, board and paper industry and their supply industries for the complex work within this highly attractive and challenging industry.
We collaborate with companies and educators from across the globe who are committed to foster learning through skillful practice and who are therefore willing to share their knowledge for the benefit of this industry and therefore also for the benefit of all kind of sustainability issues of this world.
The International Munich Paper Symposium - IMPS
The IMPS is an annual conference that has been taking place for 30 years under the direction of Prof Kleemann. It always focusses on topics with a strong connection to paper and board production and an unusually large number of field reports from mills. In comparison to existing major events, the IMPS is limited to a maximum of around 500 participants. This manageable size guarantees many discussions in a first-class atmosphere. For participants from the board and paper manufacturing and printing industries as well as the chemical and mechanical engineering supply industries, the IMPS offers a proven and sought-after platform for meeting and exchanging experiences. As far as possible, this will be a face-to-face event.
The conference is only offered as a comprehensive full programme. Included are the conference documents, abstracts online and presentations as pdf files, headphones for simultaneous translation, drinks during breaks, 2 lunches, the gala dinner on the 1st conference evening and, if places are available and offered, participation in the cultural evening on the 2nd conference evening and in one of the excursions.
