pH-value: the underestimated factor in paper production

Although the pH value is measured in most paper and board factories, this is not often done with the necessary awareness of the impact this value has on the entire paper and board manufacturing process. This presentation explains how and where the pH value is measured, how reliable the measured values are, and how changes at different points in the manufacturing process can have an impact. From this, paper and board factories can derive strategies for how reliable pH measurement can have a positive influence on the manufacturing process.
