To conclude the 35th International Munich Paper Symposium, the traditional Cultural Evening will take place on the evening of Friday, 12 March 2027.
Following three intensive days of excursion, presentations, discussions, exhibitions and personal encounters, the evening will give participants the opportunity to bring the symposium to a close in a special atmosphere. As in previous years, the Cultural Evening will combine cultural experiences with conviviality and provide an opportunity for informal exchange beyond the professional programme.
A look back at previous Cultural Evenings
The events of recent years demonstrate the variety of programmes presented at the IMPS. In 2022, participants enjoyed a festive concert in the Munich Residence. The Residenz Solisten performed works by Antonio Vivaldi, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Gioachino Rossini in the historic Court Chapel of the Residence. IMPS 2022
In 2023, the evening was dedicated to world music. Rudi Zapf & Zapf’nstreich combined Alpine melodies with Latin rhythms, Balkan beats, Klezmer, jazz and other international influences. It was an evening filled with musical virtuosity, surprising sounds and Bavarian humour. IMPS 2023
In 2024 and 2026, the Cultural Evening took guests to the traditional Circus Krone. Acrobatics, humour, music and spectacular performances created memorable experiences, combining the atmosphere of the circus ring with the appeal of a special cultural evening in Munich. IMPS 2024 · IMPS 2026
In 2025, participants attended a concert by the world-famous King’s Singers at the Prinzregententheater. The British a cappella ensemble delighted audiences with its vocal precision, distinctive arrangements and a repertoire ranging from Renaissance and classical music to pop, jazz and folk. IMPS 2025
The events of previous years impressively demonstrate the breadth of the Cultural Evening programme: from classical music and outstanding vocal performances to international world music, circus arts and first-class entertainment. In 2027, guests can once again look forward to a memorable evening.
The exact programme for the IMPS 2027 Cultural Evening has not yet been decided. The organising team is currently working on a suitable cultural experience in Munich that will do justice to the special occasion of the 35th International Munich Paper Symposium. Further information about the programme and venue will be published here as soon as the details have been confirmed.
Please save the date and look forward to a memorable conclusion to IMPS 2027.
